Chinese Silicon Metal pricing is booming this week

With the recent Chinese silicon metal market, due to the continue increasing raw materials' costs, and high electricity costs in dry seasonperiod, majority producers in southern regions are considerring stop production in the end of Nov.2016.

While in northern regions, with the snowing cold weather condition, the domestic delivery has became not as easy to arrange.
Becasue of these occurring matters, the overall silicon supply is tight, prices have increased over $100-$200/MT since last week! Factories are reluctant to quote, and it's foreseen the prices to keep firm in the coming time!
